The APTIV CES 2024 event was a 5 day event located on an open lot at the intersection of Convention Center Drive & Paradise Road, opposite the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall. Involved in both the RFP & eventual project delivery of the event, my involvement included the schematic plan & elevation drawings during various stages & the digital visualization of these spaces. It also involved working with production & graphic teams within Imagination, vendors & client that spanned across New York City, Detroit & Las Vegas.
Adopting a double story pavilion structure with an autonomous vehicle parking & passenger pick up experience outside - it was a challenge to fit all necessary spatial requirements for both FOH & BOH.
Real-Time Visuals done in Unreal Engine 5.3(Lumen + Nanite) & Twinmotion(Path Tracer) were extremely used for both the RFP submission, internal reviews & client presentations.
It’s visual accuracy & ability to manage numerous 3D assets was crucial to handling a project involving multiple changes & adjustments quickly.
Design iterations could be quickly reviewed, revised & confirmed. Graphic layouts could be seen in their destined positions & revised. Attendee journeys could be experienced first-hand.
Overall, the combination of Twinmotion & Unreal Engine was instrumental in communicating the designs for APTIV CES 2024.
